W/E Conjure Axe
Hey I finally realized that a W/Mo is not going to help and I was still in pre anyway so I started over. I want to make a W/E Conjure Axe. So could anyone give me advice on how good this build is:
Axe Mastery 12+1 Rune +1 Helmet
Tactics 9+1 Rune
Fire Magic 9
Strength 3+1 Rune
Cleave
Dismember
Penetrating Blow
Penetrating Chop
Cyclone Axe
Heal Sig
Conjure Flame
Res Sig
Equipment is:
2 Radiant Insignias (1 one leg 1 one chest)
3 Survivor Insignias (anywhere that doesn't have an Insignia)
Max Armor (of course)
Fiery Axe of Fortitude
Fire dmg: 6-28
Inscription: Guided By Fate
+15% while enchanted
Health +30
Shield
armor: 16
Received Physical Damage -2 while enchated
Health +30

Elite should be eviscerate, not cleave. Get rid of both penetratings, and cyclone. Take an IAS, flurry for you as I wouldn't trust just anyone to use frenzy even with a cancel stance. Take executioner's chop and if you only have prophecies keep cyclone. And the more survivor insignia you have the better.

I only have proph and factions but isn't cleave better for PvE because of the DPS?
How about this then:
Axe Mastery 12+1 Rune +1 Helmet
Tactics 9+1 Rune
Fire Magic 9
Strength 3+1 Rune
Triple Chop
Dismember
Executioner's Strike
Conjure Flame
Berserker Stance
Watch Yourself
Heal Sig
Res Sig
Equipment is:
2 Radiant Insignias (1 one leg 1 one chest)
3 Survivor Insignias (anywhere that doesn't have an Insignia)
Max Armor (of course)
Fiery Axe of Fortitude
Fire dmg: 6-28
Inscription: Guided By Fate
+15% while enchanted
Health +30
Shield
armor: 16
Received Physical Damage -2 while enchated
Health +30

If you want DPS, then go as a Dragonslasher.

You don't need both WY and HS. BS isn't an IAS, a good one anyway. The radiant insignia's aren't that useful, I'd replace them with survivor to match the rest of your set.

I say you learn by doing and by making mistakes, so I think the OP should go ahead and bring frenzy along with sprint/rush. Also, [skill]cleave[/skill] and [skill]eviscerate[/skill] do pretty much identical damage but cleave has lower adrenaline requirement but doesn't do deep wound which does little in pve anyways since the whole group should be concentrating on one target and they die fairly quickly. But conjure flame at 9 will do an extra 14 damage so triple chop would be a good choice to get conjure to trigger more often. Another thing to consider is that in prophecies, there is the fire islands inhabited by fire element monsters and the shiverpeaks with ice element monsters, so I would think about going with [skill]conjure lightning[/skill]. I don't think there are any monsters in the game with a resistance to lightning (except rangers who have extra armor against all elements which you should have an extra axe to use to counter them anyways.)

Definitely on the right track. My concern would be for Penetrating Chop and Penetrating Blow.. first of all, they're kinda redundant, and secondly it may be better to bring along an interrupt, Dismember, or Bull's Strike. There's lots of Axe skills that do more than just damage.

Looks pretty good! I'm more of a [skill]Flail[/skill] than a [skill]Frenzy[/skill] person, especially with HealSig and Frenzy being quite nasty for you at times.
Normally I'd say find room for [skill]Bull's Strike[/skill] as well, my choice would be the rez sig, but fleeing foes aren't THAT much of a problem...
*tries to avoid flame war*
EDIT: [skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill] would still be sexier than rez sig

Well you're right, in PvE Flail would be better than Frenzy if Kenpachi has Nightfall. Bull's Strike is kinda unnecessary in PvE as well, but owns in PvP. And the res is only really needed when with PUG groups or when you're doing a mission where you can't auto-res.

Certainly up the strength, with your basic attacks doing more damage why not put our more of them? consider flail.
id sack off the energy. 20 is fine if you run a good adrenaline build. Instead make yourself tougher. Especially since like 40% of attacks land on your chest id go brawlers on it.

What campaign do you have? Which ones do you plan to play? Is it for PVE or PVP? Because Frenzy is a very bad choice for PVE, especially linked with Healing signet, whereas it shines in PvP, where nobody targets you because of your big armor.

The ai tends to ignore warriors anyways to focus more on softer targets. Besides, if you do start to take to much damage, cancel it with sprint/enraging charge/rush.

Personally I stick to Flail in PvP, but if you can pull it off, go for it. Honestly I doubt its that suicidal. You'd have to be nuts to do it without a cancel stance, though.

Flail = Hammer build, Frenzy = Axe + Sword build, well in pvp anyway. Stance-cancel = Win.
